Carbon Literacy For Hotels

The FIRST Carbon Literacy Project accredited course designed specifically for the hospitality sector.

Net Zero or Lowest Carbon

Net zero or lowest carbon is a priority issue for hospitality businesses, your customers, industry-leading organisations such as ABTA and Sustainable Hospitality Alliance, and governments around the world.

Awareness of, and training in, lowest carbon is becoming an industry standard and in some cases a regulatory obligation.

Why Do You Need Carbon Literacy?

By training your staff in the positive impact of low carbon and the practicalities of measuring and reducing carbon you will benefit your business by being more attractive to increasingly carbon-literate travellers, and meet environmental legislation requirements and new industry standards while reducing operating costs.

The course is available in two formats:

1. A one day on-site event delivered over 6 hours with a course workbook to study beforehand.

2. An online interactive course delivered in two separate 3 hour sessions with a workbook to study beforehand

Our Courses
Adult Students

Our course is available to businesses and organisations in the UK, Europe and globally. The course is designed specifically for the Hospitality Sector and for the housekeeping, catering and front of house staff who deliver operations day in day out.

For larger employers we would be pleased to discuss developing bespoke content to maximise the low carbon outcomes and unlock the benefits to your business. A train the trainer option is also available should that be the most appropriate method of delivery for your organisation.

A low-carbon operation will also build closer links with your local communities, and local supply chains and help recruit and retain staff.

A low-carbon hospitality industry is one that safeguards the environment and its own future.

All staff who undertake our training will receive a Carbon Literate Citizen certificate from the Carbon Literacy Project which is an accreditation body recognised by UK Government.
