Carbon Literacy for Hotels. Online module.

This online workbook is part of the Carbon Literacy for Hospitality Course. You will work through a series of modules and at the end of each module you will have a short quiz and prompts to make notes, ready for our group discussion on the workshop. By completing this training you will learn about the positive impact of low carbon and the practicalities of measuring and reducing carbon. You will gain skills to benefit your business, increasing your profit margin by being more attractive to increasingly carbon-literate travellers, getting ahead of the curve on environmental legislation requirements, reducing operating costs and meeting new industry standards. A low-carbon operation will also build closer links with your local communities, and local supply chains and help recruit and retain staff. A low-carbon hospitality industry safeguards the environment and its future. Everyone who undertakes our training, including the workshops will receive a Carbon Literate Citizen certificate from the Carbon Literacy Project which is the accreditation body recognised by UK Government.
