Carbon Literacy For Hotels - Online Course
All staff who undertake our training will receive a Carbon Literate Citizen certificate from the Carbon Literacy Project who are the accreditation body recognised by UK Government.

About the event
Our training is fully accredited by the Carbon Literacy Project and has two 3 hour online sessions
Session 1Â
Covers an introduction to Carbon Literacy and the science of climate change.Â
Addresses the impact of climate change globally and for hospitality, discusses carbon footprints and discusses the hospitality sector commitment to reduce carbon by 66% per room per night as set out in the Glasgow declaration.Â
Session 2Â
Focuses in on hospitality sector specifics such as carbon measurement for hotels, practical steps towards lowest carbon both for your staff and your business. Â Supports your staff to develop actions to reduce day to day operational carbon for your business. Concluding with the creation of their low carbon pledge which accompanies their Carbon Literate Citizen award.
